E-Mentoring

E-Mentoring helps establish caring and structured relationships by using technology to connect mentors and mentees.  To learn more about e-mentoring, please click here.

Through a partnership with Iowa Health System, the Iowa Mentoring Partnership is proud to offer a secure platform for electronic communication between mentors and youth in certified e-mentoring programs.  The e-mentoring system enables program staff to monitor all e-mail communication and allows for communication between mentors and youth without sharing personal e-mail addresses.  In addition, communication between mentors and mentees can not occur through this secure system without prior approval from the Iowa Mentoring Partnership and specific e-mentoring program coordinators.
